Mumbai, India (my birthplace) holds a special place in my heart . The balmy evenings, mellow sunsets and deep conversations about the future with my friends are my cherished memories. These lifelong friendships were formed at our neighbourhood “naakaa” literally meaning ‘ around the corner’ in Mumbai slang.
The naakaas were reminiscent of modern day pubs, offering tantalizing savouries from around the world.
Having had the privilege of working in the British food industry for 17 years, from cozy pubs to high-end restaurants and exploring all corners of the globe both professionally and for leisure, I now feel ready to share my culinary passion.
My journey for good food has taken me to bustling seafood street markets in Hong Kong, intricate mazes of narrow alleys in Italy and lovely vibrant lanes of Mumbai.
It is now my mission to bring these diverse flavours of the world to my patrons locally without them having to leave their hometown!
